Garage Floor Coating
Garage floor coating that keeps brine, sand and warm tires from wrecking the slab, laid on ground concrete under flake and a polyaspartic clear coat.
View Garage Floor CoatingA swirled, pearl-pigment floor for basements, family rooms and showrooms, where every finished pour comes out one of a kind.
Metallic epoxy flooring mixes fine pearl powder into a clear resin. As the resin levels out, rollers and hand tools move the pigment into swirls, veins and pools of depth that resemble stone, marble or moving water. Like all our jobs it is insured, and the quote lists primer, pour and clear coat.
A metallic pour exaggerates any hump or hollow underneath, so prep matters more here than anywhere else. Grinding flattens the slab, filler goes into cracks and hollows, and the meter comes out before any pigment is mixed.
That reading is especially important in basements close to the creek valleys in Bowmanville and Courtice, where slabs can stay damp. A vapour-blocking primer keeps metallic epoxy flooring bonded and prevents cloudy patches.
Most metallic floors use one main colour plus one or two accents. Silver and charcoal suit a modern Newcastle or Courtice basement, while gold, copper and bronze feel warmer in a bar or family room.
Finished sample boards and photos come along to the visit. Since the pattern forms as the resin flows, we settle on colours and style together, and the pour itself decides the exact swirl.
A metallic room takes longer than a speckled floor. The primer, the metallic pour and the clear coat each need curing time, so most rooms take two to four days.
Furniture can usually go back after about three days. Any basement floor coating prep the room needs is listed on the quote. Metallic epoxy flooring usually costs about $9 to $14 per square foot.
Phone (289) 207-4813 and describe the room and the colours you like. We will check the slab, bring sample boards and send an itemized metallic epoxy flooring quote. You can browse our other floors on the home page.
