Garage Floor Coating
Garage floor coating that keeps brine, sand and warm tires from wrecking the slab, laid on ground concrete under flake and a polyaspartic clear coat.
View Garage Floor CoatingShop floor coating for repair bays, contractor shops and farm buildings, with grit in the clear coat so wet floors stay safe underfoot.
This system seals concrete against oil, fuel, antifreeze and road salt, and turns spills into a quick wipe. Grinding and crack repair come first, then a thick epoxy base and a textured clear coat. Each shop job carries insurance, and you see every line of the price.
Snowmelt off trucks and equipment keeps a shop floor wet for most of the winter. Smooth coatings get slick, so the clear coat is loaded with grit to keep footing safe.
How coarse it gets depends on the room. Wash bays and repair bays get the most, and a parts counter or office gets a finer finish that mops easily.
Rural Clarington has working farms and orchards from Tyrone and Enniskillen to Kendal and Newtonville. Farm shops see tractors, mud, manure and fertilizer, all of which are hard on bare concrete.
A heavy build with a chemical-resistant clear coat stands up to that use and hoses clean. The apron inside the big doors, where water and grit collect, gets extra build.
Floor drains and door aprons are where most shop coatings give up. Water sits there, salt builds up, and the concrete edges crumble.
The concrete around drains is rebuilt, clean edges are cut in and the coating is built thicker in those spots. If the slab is badly worn, our concrete floor repair comes first. Shop floor coating usually costs about $7 to $13 per square foot.
